Since its inception in 1985, SP Ultraflex Systems Pvt. Ltd. has played a vital role in the evolution of Converting Slitter Rewinders in South East Asia. Traditionally considered as mere ancillaries, slitter rewinders are now sourced with the due diligence that accompanies the purchase of higher value equipment such as Printing Presses and Lamination equipment. Deservedly so, since slitting rewinding is the final converting process and the finish of slit reels is the proverbial “first impression” given to the customer.
Keeping pace with developments in related equipment such as Printing, Lamination and Packing machines, there has been a constant metamorphosis in the design of converting slitters, particularly in respect of the speeds, drives, changeover mechanisms and material handling options.
